- Located a short 45 minute drive north from Cape Town along the West Coast road, the quaint town of Darling is home to the annual Darling Wildflower Show. Enjoy indoor and outdoor viewing of a wide variety of indigenous wildflowers that are only in flower at this time of the year. A number of private and municipal wildflower reserves are opened to the public, and tractor rides are available to view the natural display at Oude Post Vlei. The Hello Darling Arts and Culture Festival that includes art exhibitions, theater and cabaret performances coincides with the Darling Wildflower Show.
