Description:
- Situated in the original farm buildings of the historic Montebello, the Design Centre is a development project which aims to create jobs in craft and promote good local design. Of particular note are the on-site craft and design studios which produce jewellery, metalwork, textiles, ceramics, paper and print. There are some truly unique items here including Port Jackson rustic furniture, hand-painted candles, work-from-waste home-ware and Bishop Tutu fabric dolls. This is an eclectic spot which is well worth a visit. The Gardener's Cottage Restaurant is open for breakfasts, lunches and teas.
