• Cecil John Rhodes' seaside cottage contains his personal memorabilia and a diorama of his burial place in the Matapos, Zimbabwe. Although controversial, there is no doubt that Rhodes lived life to the full, making a significant contribution to the story of Africa. Imbibe some of the atmosphere of those early pioneering days in the cottage where he spent his last days. It also has a delightful tea garden, from where you may be lucky enough to glimpse whales frolicking in False Bay. There is no entry fee.
