The train usually departs Cape Town at 10:30am and arrives in Fish Hoek (at noon) or Simon's Town (at 12:15) Then you can explore the historic village and enjoy a picnic on the beach before making starting the return trip (from Simonstown at 2:15pm or Fish Hoek at 2:30pm) and arriving back in Cape Town at 4:30pm.
