Description:
- One of the first buildings to catch the eye at the Wellington Wine Cellar is that of the flag-bedecked cellar complete with red roses and dazzling white gables. In 1996, alterations to the existing red wine cellar were necessitated by the increasing demand for the cellar's wines both locally and overseas. The red wines are the result of perfect climate and soil conditions, and are aged in the cellar's own oak vats. Awards include the trophy for South African Champion Red in 1992.
