Known across the world for its impeccable acoustics, the Colón has attracted the world's finest opera performers -- Luciano Pavarotti, Maria Callas, Plácido Domingo, and Arturo Toscanini among them. Opera season in Buenos Aires runs from April to November. The Colón has its own symphony orchestra, ballet, and choir companies. The main theater seats 3,000.
