NileGuide Expert tip:
Try to plan a stay during the low-tourist season. Monarch Cove reduces its prices by about half during the low-traffic months.
The Monarch Cove Inn is a favorite stay among honeymooners, anniversary celebrators, brides and grooms, and pretty much anyone looking for a beautiful stay during their vacation. Monarch Cove takes meticulous care of its grounds, which are verdant and full of life and color. The views of the Pacific, guests rave, are fantastic. The Victorian building itself is over 100 years old, and each room has its own character and particular amenities. The Hideaway Suite, as an example, has its own outdoor courtyard with a Jacuzzi under a private gazebo. Several rooms have fireplaces. Private cottages are also available.
The Inn gets its name from a portion of the property that's been designated a Monarch butterfly sanctuary. These beautiful orange butterflies have adopted the Central Coast as a second home. Guests are encouraged to wander into the sanctuary and marvel at the magnificent little creatures fluttering above their heads.
