The Whaler's Cabin is the oldest building on the Monterey Peninsula, offering a display of whaling and nautical artifacts, photographs, and trivia. Docents are friendly and knowledgeable. World class SCUBA diving is permitted with reservations – often made months in advance – and limited to 15 teams of two divers (30 total) on any given day.
