Description:
Established years ago, the Hotel Misión is right on the town's little plaza. Guest rooms have hot water and electricity. The lobby and restaurant area surrounds a large rock fireplace, where a local guitarist and singer sometimes entertain in the evenings. The food is usually good, and the ranch-style rooms (with tile floors, wood-burning stoves, and kerosene lanterns) are comfortable. The hotel offers several tours, including rides to Cerro Gallego, Urique, and the local waterfalls. There are also hiking, mountain biking, and horseback riding trips.
