• Location. The ResortQuest Rentals at Kiawah Island are located just off the mainland on Kiawah Island, S.C. The rentals provide convenient access to the island's ten miles of beachfront, nestled between the Atlantic Ocean and the marshes of the mainland. The property is 21 miles from historic Charleston, S.C., which offers boutique shops, galleries, museums, a variety of dining options and historic tours.
  Features. This gated beachfront community is comprised of low-rise condominium buildings, private homes and common-use facilities featured against the backdrop of dunes, lagoons and marshes. The island houses five championship golf courses and 30 miles of paved bicycling trails wind through dense woodlands and along hidden waterways. Guests at the ResortQuest Rentals at Kiawah Island have access to concierge services, nature programs and supervised children's programs. Fees apply to select activities. Pets are not allowed at this property.
  
  Guestrooms. These privately-owned villas occupy various locations throughout Kiawah Island, and artfully blended with the island's natural landscape. Each Kiawah Island villa meets stringent requirements for quality furnishings and decor, with a variety of views available. The villas include full kitchens, furnished decks or screened-in porches, living areas, dining areas, and washers and dryers. Accommodations are equipped with central heating and air conditioning. All units offer cable television, and most provide VCRs. Bed linens are provided. Weekly departure cleaning is included, and daily maid service is available for a fee.
  
  Expert Tip. In addition to normal vacation gear, guests are encouraged to bring beach towels, coffee filters, salt and pepper, favorite spices, tin foil, any special food products and personal toiletry items. Commonly forgotten items can be purchased at the supermarket located next door to the property's check-in office in Freshfields Village.
  
  Guests must be at least 25 years old to check in at this property.
