Description:

  • Ten "modern vacation" cottages overlook the Stono River marsh within James Island County Park. Each cottage is furnished and has three bedrooms, one bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, satellite television, phone service, and can sleep up to eight people. Guests are free to enjoy James Island County Park, which has numerous paved trails, boat and bike rentals, a picnic center, playground, open fields, and fishing areas. Get away from it all, then when you're ready to return to civilization, hop on the shuttle service that takes you to downtown Charleston (USD7 per person). When reserving your cottage, note that there is a two night stay minimum. Between Memorial Day and Labor Day there is a one week stay minimum. Discount rates apply to residents of Charleston County.
