Description:
- An old home on Providence Road was renovated to house the Big Ben British Pub & Restaurant. The expat owners, David Harris and Paula Casey, have brought Brit-style pubbing to Charlotte. Maroon and white dominate the interior, with brass knick-knacks strewn around; you'll even find pictures of British royalty around the fireplace. The eatery can accommodate about 150 people at a time, and everything from English cheddar and wheat rolls to water crackers and mustard is on the menu. In addition to these, juicy sausage rolls and Scotch eggs can be dug into. Swing to live music on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
