Description:
Some of the blues musicians who appeared here went on to become famous, such as Willie Dixon, Buddy Guy, and Stevie Ray Vaughn. The setting is a renovated 1920s house on the border of downtown Charlotte and the Elizabeth district, with a likable, battered, absolutely unpretentious ambience. You might catch a zydeco band, if you're lucky. Although the place is open Monday to Friday from 11am to 2am and Saturday and Sunday from 8:30pm to 2am, live music is featured only between 10pm and 2am nightly.
