Take a look at crafts like lacquered jewel boxes, copper and clay sculptures, delicate tea-sets, hand-painted pots, replicas of ships, Chinese soapstone carvings and old ceramic plates, or admire the antique furniture and tin masks on display. Ancient religious icons decorate the walls here, some of which come from as far as Russia. Bead and bone necklaces, purses and belts adorned with coral and other stones make up the jewelry section. Abstract paintings by contemporary artists and textiles from India also line the shelves. Guests are welcome to buy what catches the eye; most of the works are from private collections, and are sold to aid the artisans from developing nations.
