Romantic Nightlife in Chattanooga

  • The Best of NileGuide
  • The nightlife in Chattanooga ranges from concerts, to wine bars, to dance clubs, and last but certainly not least to local hangouts. Located on the University of Tennessee campus in Downtown, the UTC Mackenzie Arena is Chattanooga’s multi-use arena for competitive basketball games, concerts, wrestling, monster truck shows, and the circus. If monster truck shows aren’t your cup of tea and you are visiting Chattanooga in September or October be sure to buy tickets for the Wine Over Water festival. As you walk across Walnut Street Bridge, you’ll be able to taste wine from around 100 wineries.

Dance clubs and bars are definitely a sure way to let loose on the weekends. Check out the Lizard Lounge for some late night dancing, adventure, and overall coolness. This club showcases quality live music, a dance floor, delicious martinis, and intimate booths. Located away from the tourist traps next to the Tennessee Aquarium, the Mudpie Coffeehouse and Newsstand offers an eclectic mix of gourmet coffee, beer, wine, and pies. If you’re up late and near the North Shore area you should make a point to visit this wonderful establishment.
