Banana Beach

• The Phuket Beaches during high season can get very crowded and the water conditions are vastly different in January than the conditions in July. Escape from some of the crowds and look for a few of the hidden beaches like Banana Beach. It's a very secluded little spot on the northwest side of Phuket. This secret little place is rather hard to find; it's north of Bangtao Beach and south of Nai Thon. Look for a small blue sign posted to a tree, about 500 meters north of the Trisara Villas and just south of the Andaman White Beach Resort. You'll need to hike down a short hill....nothing too intimidating and well worth the trek!
