- Whether you are a fan of martial arts or not, Muay Thai (Thai boxing) is a must-see while in Thailand. This is the only standard stadium in Chiang Mai where Thai and foreign boxers from all over Thailand duke it out in the ring. Each match starts with a ritual dance or ceremony, and boxers offer thanks to the masters. During the fights, the coaches and bettors are a spectacle themselves! There are fights every Friday, some Tuesdays and Saturdays during holiday times.
