Description:
- Just a skip down Tha Phae Road from Tha Phae Gate, Inter Bar is Chiang Mai's version of the grungy hard rock joint. A dimly lit room filled with wooden picnic tables for seating, the bar has only three walls allowing the music to pour out onto the street as people drive by. The music starts at 7:30 with a one man acoustic guitar player performing Western country hits. At 9:30 the hard rock starts with a live band. At 11:00 the bands change and the rock continues until the bar closes. Both Thai and foreigner bands can be heard here. -Scott Johnson
