- Established more than 25 years ago, this center aims to promote and preserve the culture of the ancient northern kingdom of Lanna. Patrons sit on floor cushions and are entertained by elegantly clad Thai dancers. Once sated, move on to enjoy genuine hill-tribe performances at the Hill-tribe Theater. For a very modest fee, each table gets a typical Northern Thai selection that includes such delicious dishes as fried pumpkin, nam prik ong and kaeng haeng le, all accompanied by sticky rice. For special requests, such as vegetarian food, be sure to call in advance. Soft drinks are available.
