- Bungalow guest houses like those in Pai and Chiang Dao are all the rage at Thailand's beaches and mountain resorts. But bungalows in the middle of a city seem somewhat out of place. Baan Lansa, however, pulls it off beautifully. Not even a block from Wat Phrasingh on Rajadamnoen Road, the restaurant part of Baan Lansa looks like a teak wood jungle patio. All the way at the back of the restaurant are the bungalows. Even in the middle of the city, sitting in front of the bungalows nothing but the night time crickets can be heard.
