Just a short ride out of town, and a popular business and meeting address, the Holiday Inn (formerly Sheraton) is a good, familiar choice. From the enormous pillars, chandeliers, frescoes, and filigree of the grand lobby, to their international standard of guest rooms and service -- everything is tip-top. What the Holiday Inn lacks in "local" touches it more than makes up for with comfortable familiarity. Complimentary shuttles to the Night Bazaar and airport help offset the out-of-the-way locale. Rooms, particularly deluxe rooms, are vast but not particularly luxurious. Services are extensive, including Wi-Fi on executive floors.
