• Had your fill of Thai food for one day but still like to keep things a little spicy? Head to El Diablo's for some very good Mexican fare. There are currently two restaurants battling it out for Mexican food supremacy in Chiang Mai, the other is Miguel's, another quality restaurant. While neither restaurant is cheap compared with local fare, El Diablo's is probably a little better value due to the size of the portions - they are huge. El Diablo's has also won the battle of the Burrito's in this Mexican stand off. Upon arriving, a large plate of corn chips, some dip and pickled vegetables is on your table before you have even ordered. This is almost a meal in itself, so make sure you turn up to El Diablo's with a devil of an appetite. The margaritas also come highly recommended, they are made with good tequila and fresh lime. El Diablo's is easy to find on Chaiyapoom Road, right next to Mike's Burgers on the moat.
