- Further along the river from The Riverside Bar and Restaurant is the Good View - a large and often noisy establishment that is probably inferior to the former. Established in 1996, The Good View is located along Charoen Raj Rd, which runs along the east side of the river. Popular with young Thais, rock is always on the menu along with international, Thai, European and Japanese cuisine. The Good View also has an extensive selection of wine, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and large choice of cocktails. Often very busy before 9pm, The Good View has a lively Thai band every night, which can play quite loud so don't expect to conduct intimate conversations. The restaurant has free Wi-Fi for those with laptops.
