Chiang Mai Thai Farm Cooking School

• Chiang Mai has plenty of schools to learn Thai cooking but the Chiang Mai Thai Farm Cooking School offers a unique experience. Students are picked up from the school's office in downtown Chiang Mai and taken to a Thai market to shop for ingredients. Afterwards class moves to the school's own organic farm where students pick their own vegetables. They then spend the rest of the day preparing Thai dishes of their own choosing. The class can be taken for up to three days to learn all of the dishes offered. Students return to the city in the late afternoon with full bellies and a Thai recipe book. -Scott Johnson
