- Mae Klang Waterfall is the first waterfall you'll discover on your way up Doi Inthanon and it is one of Chiang Mai's best. The waterfall has several tiers with the main waterfall cascading down more than 25 metres down a 45-degree slope into a swimmable pool. There is a viewing area at the waterfall and a short and easy nature walk to get there. The waterfall would be an ideal place for a picnic or just a serene stop over on your day trip to Thailand's highest peak.
