Description:
- Located only 20 kilometers north of Chiang Mai, on route 1069 in the Mae Sa Valley, this is a nice place to see monkeys showing how clever they are. These lovable creatures perform in shows that last 45 minutes each—watch them ride a bicycle or even play basketball. There are two different kinds of macaques here, and they seem to be treated well by the staff.

As soon as I walked through the door I felt ashamed that I had given money to these horrible people. The monkeys are chained to little posts and have no room to take a couple of steps....
