Phu Phing Palace

Description:

  • This Palace is located about four kilometers farther up the mountain from Doi Suthep. Completed in the early 1960s, the grounds are beautifully landscaped and are particularly attractive in the winter months (December to January) when colorful flowers are in bloom. Orchids are a special attraction. The grounds of the Palace (though not the building itself) are open to the public on weekends and official holidays when Their Majesties the King and Queen are not in residence.
