Description:

  • The most significant Vihara (Pali word for Buddhist monastery) in this part of the city, Wat Tha Kham is an amazing stopover for your nature trail in the terrains of the Chiang Mai province. The monastery features ancient architecture, and well preserved murals and paintings still decorate the walls of the temple. A great place to observe these primitive styled murals that are prominent feature in most of the architectural structures located in the province. The monastery is well connected to the old city of Chiang Mai and lies 20 kilometers south of the Chiang Mai International Airport. Call the tourist information center for more information.
