Description:
Fans of the White Temple (Wat Rong Kun) in Chiang Rai, should make the trip to see the Golden Clocktower, designed by the very same Chiang Rai artist, Ajarn Chaloemchai kositpipat. Built in honour of HM King Bhumibol Adulyadej, the tower is located in the heart of the Chiang Rai, not far from the night bazaar. For the first ten minutes of every hour from 7 pm until 11pm there is a colourful light show on the tower, that attracts a large crowd.
