Lincoln Hall - Chicago

  • Description:

    • Lincoln Hall stands at North Lincoln Avenue, which has housed a Nickelodeon theater, a garage and machine shop, and the 3 Penny Cinema since the building was constructed in 1912. Now the space has been renovated to accommodate a music venue. Lincoln Hall is the brainchild of brothers Mike and Chris Schuba, who successfully ran Schubas Tavern for twenty years before opening this additional venue in the fall of 2009. Lincoln Hall serves as an extension to Schubas' programming, so the venue has been bringing in big-name musical acts since day one. The space features a mezzanine that wraps around the stage, a restaurant, and a few different bars. The contemporary interior created a comfortable environment for both the performers and their audiences. - Betsy Mikel
