Description:
This was one of Old Town's legendary saloons until the ironic college kids discovered it. A dingy neighborhood hangout since the late 1950s with a fading mural that captures the likenesses of a class of regulars from the early 1970s, the place was cleaned up in 2006 and lost much of its old charm. Gone are the days when John Belushi commandeered the pinball machines or old-timers outnumbered kids in their 20s. If drinking with kids doesn't bother you, put some quarters in the jukebox, which is filled with a selection of crooner tunes, and just hang out.
