- Logan Square is one of Chicago's great up-and-coming neighborhoods. It used to be a bit on the seedy side, but now some of the hippest new bars and gastropubs have been popping up here. Logan Bar & Grill keeps patrons happy with two bars and a fantastic outdoor patio area in the summer, and Dunlay's on the Square will give you more of that neighborhood vibe, with its simple pub food and beer list. Longman & Eagle, which has pleased Chicago restaurant goers tremendously, is a neighborhood joint, with a whole lot of creativity, hipster style, and a great bar. If you are really ravenous, indulge in a burger on a pretzel roll at Kuma's Corner, or with a pizza pie at Big Tony's Pizza. Try authentic Cuban food at 90 Miles Cuban Cafe, a quick, delicious eatery, or take your time at the romantic, Cafe Bolero. If you need another romantic option, try Cafe Matou, a charming, and spacious French restaurant, that feels a little out of place in this rough-around-the-edges neighborhood, but certainly worth a visit. If you are a sushi-lover, Coast will amaze you with its' class and specialty rolls.
