This area may be a bit out of the way, but worth it for such an amazing dining experience. "Restaurant Row" offers you the best chefs in the city doing what they do best. Paul Kahan at Blackbird provides a sophisticated, modern, yet simple menu and environment, Martial Noguier of one-sixty blue offers fresh and classic cuisine, and Stephanie Izard gives fresh and contemporary a whole new look at Girl & the Goat. Paul Kahan also teamed up with another Chicago favorite to serve up glorified comfort food at The Publican. Other fine evenings can be had at Nia with exquisite Mediterranean food, at Vivo with its' rustic Italian ambiance, and at the theatrical and a bit over-the-top Marche. Further south you will hit Greektown, where you must indulge in hummus, flaming cheese, and grape leaves at Greek Islands and Pegasus. Finally, even further south get lively with authentic Mexican food at Nuevo Leon.
