- Guests love the great downtown site of the Holiday Inn Chicago - Mart Plaza. Within walking distance is the Magnificent Mile, the State Street shopping area, the John G. Shed aquarium, and tons of restaurants. Guests love the view of the river and the city. The hotel has large rooms that include a TV, a king size bed, a sofa bed, and lots of free space. The beds are not very comfortable and, as one guest says, low to the ground. There is an indoor pool, but many guests say that it is too cold for them to enjoy.
