- The Hyatt Regency McCormick Place in Chicago is located near the downtown area by the water. Most of the rooms have a fantastic view of Lake Michigan and Navy Pier. On the positive side, the beds at the Hyatt Regency are very comfortable and the rooms are large and spacious. However, as big as they may be, many guests complained that they were not as clean and they expected. Also many complained that the decor is outdated and needed some renovation. Finally, even though the hotel does offer a shuttle service, guests complained that the hotel was too far from local attractions.
