- It ain't fancy, but DePaul students throng here. If you don't dig on the surroundings, you can order your Greek chicken (which is very good — a half chicken in a Lemon Wine Sauce), burger, fries, gyro plate or whatever else and bring it to Glascott's bar, which is accessible through a door connecting the separate establishments. The Athenian Room lacks the colorful flair of most Greektown restaurants, but is superior in terms of a casual, family environment.

The best steak ever

I stayed at Villa D Citta B&B and they recommended Athenian Room. Omg did I enjoy it. I had skirt steak with Greek potatoes. My absolutely favorite.

Great Greek food, inexpensive, outside seating in the summer, no liquor license so you hop over to the bar next door and bring drinks back. This place never disappoints.

Went here with some friends. It is in a great neighborhood (Lincoln Park). I liked their set up. No liquor in the restaurant so you walk next door to the attached Irish Pub Glascotts...
