Brought to Wicker Park by chef Paul Kahan of Chicago's upscale restaurants, Blackbird and The Publican, this honky tonk taco bar is everything but fancy and upscale, but serves food that makes you remember Paul Kahan was involved. The restaurant is simple and sparse, with a large bar in the middle serving whiskey, tequila, and craft beers. Eat on the large patio during the summer months, or just drop by the side window to grab a taco or tostada to go. The crowd is primarily neighborhood hipsters and 20 and 30-somethings, and is certainly the place to be on weekends and the summertime.
