Bistro Campagne - Chicago

  • Description:

    • Located in Lincoln Square, Bistro Campagne serves classic bistro fare in a charming natural setting. In the spirit of its name (Campagne meaning countryside), the seating areas include the main dining room with "prairie-inspired" decor and a beautifully landscaped outdoor patio where diners can enjoy their entrĂ©es while taking in the peaceful atmosphere. The menu offers a combination of seasonal dishes and bistro essentials such as pan-seared Steak Frites, and also a few child-friendly options. Their extensive and reasonably priced beer and wine lists are definitely worth a look.

    Message from Bistro Campagne

Located in Lincoln Square, Bistro Campagne is committed to the use of organic food products in Chicago and strongly supports the sustainable, low impact agriculture movement. This Chicago organic food restaurant is a warm and friendly neighborhood eatery in the tradition of a true French bistro. Opened in summer 2002 by Chef Michael Altenberg, Bistro Campagne immediately became a favorite of the Lincoln Square residents as well as diners from all over the city and suburbs. From the beginning, it has strived to capture and express that ephemeral quality found in the favorite small neighborhood bistros in Paris and rural France: the sense of welcome, ease, fun conversations and the excellent food. The setting is a charming blend of prairie-inspired decor and lively Gallic spirit. It is the food, however, that is at the heart of Bistro Campagne.
