Little Branch Cafe - Chicago
  • Cuisines: European
  • NileGuide Expert Says:

The French Toast was chosen as the best in the city by Time Out Chicago, and don't miss out on the creative cocktail offerings!

  • NileGuide Expert tip:

Little Branch is a great (and quiet) alternative to the other bustling (read crowded) South Loop weekend brunch spots.

    Description:

    • Located in the South Loop, this cozy European-inspired bistro is part coffeehouse, part bar, and part restaurant.  Off the beaten South Loop dining path, they have a full bar with mixologist-inspired cocktails, domestic and imported beers, and delicious wines.  Their dinner menu offers a wide range of fare: chicken and waffles, a LBC burger, crispy grilled cheese, macaroni and cheese, and a daily soup and salad.  If you're looking for breakfast or brunch, Little Branch has most of their offerings during the week, but on the weekend you'll get to try the strada du jour, the Monte Cristo, and the French toast.
