Entrees cast a wider net, with meaty picks like Churrasco (skirt steak Argentina/Uruguay style), which comes with unlimited sides like congris (Cuban-style red beans and rice) and tostones (twice-fried plantains), which sound good, but still won't give you the confidence to tell your GF you don't like her hair.

Siboney is a Cuban restaurant in Bucktown. Owner Jose Luis Hernandez born in Cuba, is behind this Bucktown spot where they offer both home-style Cuban fare and more refined Cuban dishes influenced by French and Italian techniques. This is an ideal venue for a business lunch or dinner in Bucktown. Jose convinced a favorite Cuban chef with a fine dining background to pack up and move to Chicago to help him carry out his vision. The corner building is now home to a large mural on the exterior and a fashionable dining room inside. Siboney also features live music Tuesday (Flamengo), Thursday (Salsa) and Sunday (Latin Jazz). This Cuban restaurant has a private room equipped with a projection screen. Their bar area is beautiful, with flat screen TVs and Siboney has perfected their Mojito! Call today for a reservation at Siboney, a Bucktown restaurant with a Cuban twist.
