Description:

  • This 102-foot long masterpiece created by Lorado Taft took 14 years to create and was finally dedicated in 1922 to mark 100 years of peace between the United States and England. The massive stone fountain, designed with a reflecting pool, symbolizes the struggles and triumphs of humanity through the ages. Tremendous in its detail and expression, it remains one of the most impressive sculptures in the country.
