Illinois Artisans Shop - Chicago

  • Description:

    • A not-for-profit program of the Illinois State Museum Society, the shop showcases work created by the state's best artisans. Usually following a seasonal or decorative trend, this shop showcases the work of area artisans and craftsmen with a special focus on Chicago-area thinking and innovation. Past displays have included stuffed animals and hand-carved wood toys, and textiles created by local artist Lisa Nelson. The space itself is warm and inviting, and tourists should find the place a delight.
