• You might accidentally walk by the unassuming three story building in the West Loop without realizing that you've missed the Museum of Holography.  Once you ring the doorbell and wait for the lovely proprietress to allow you in, you feel like you've been transported to another time and place.  Full of character and incredible variety of holographic pictures, this museum could easily occupy you for several hours.  Follow the resident cat through the huge rooms full of images of everything from human anatomy to cute kittens to celebrities.  Only $5 for admission, this delightfully kitsch museum is a little-known gem even among locals, so don't be surprised if you're the only ones there.
