Description:
- The Pilgrim Baptist Church was founded by a handful people, who ran the Union Grove Prayer Meeting Club. The structure was designed by famed architect Louis Sullivan and engineer Dankmar Adler. The church was awarded the Chicago Landmark Status in 1981. This 91-year old church is among the leading churches in the country.
