The Puppet Bike - Chicago
  • Type: Shows
  • NileGuide Expert tip:

If you've got a spare dollar, slip it into the box just below the puppets' stage and see what happens!

  • Description:

    • If you're strolling around the Loop or walking down Clark Street in Andersonville, you might come across a strange looking bike supporting a painted wooden box.  If you're lucky, the mystery puppeteer behind (or inside) Chicago's Puppet Bike will be mid-show.  You'll stand among a small crowd of people listening to the delightful tunes and watching the hilarious antics of a kitten, a rabbit, a monkey, and several other adorable dancing puppets.  It seems like magic, but the puppets will notice a passersby and play directly to them.  Although it may seem like it's geared toward children, the Puppet Bike never fails to make even the Loop's busiest businesspeople smile.
