- Constructed by Paul Cornell, Washington Park is by far, the largest park in Chicago. Spread over 300 acres of land, this park houses Conservatory, Refectory and a state-of-the-art DuSable Museum of African American History and various monuments and sculptures such the Fountain of Time. Moreover, this park is also in news for being on of the proposed sites to build an Olympic stadium for the upcoming Olympics 2016.
