Chicago is full of great music any day of the week. I would recommend looking into Kingston Mines, House of Blues, the Empty Bottle, Subterranean Lounge, Buddy Guy's, and even look into what is going on Millennium Park. Some of these are a little out of the Loop, but it is definitely worth the train or cab ride.
