Parroquia de San Pedro Cholula

Description:

  • This parish church was built in 1640 and had a remodeled in 1782. His tower is the tallest in Cholula and can be seen from almost everywhere in the city. On the inside, the temple is Baroque, though the dome, dating from the XVIII century, is Churrigueresco (the Colonial Rococo-style).
Saint Peter (San Pedro) is venerated here, and it's the Saint Patron of the city, thus the name of this Cholula. On the main altar, on the main niche, the image of the saint can be found.
