The Best of NileGuide
- It's not just the girls that want to have fun in Christchurch, New Zealand. These fun things to do will get everyone in the family into the convivial spirit of a good holiday here in my city Christchurch. Active and captivating, these unique activities are bound to put a smile on your face. This is what a vacation is all about, right? From the award-winning Antarctic Centre,(including riding real Antarctic vehicles) and learning to surf on one of our beaches, through to a couple of free activities, this list has something for everyone. Christchurch is a flat city with great public transport so all these destinations and activities are easy to get to. the top top events have buses leaving from the central city - near the visitor information centre in 'the square'. The one to the Antarctic Centre (the worlds best Antarctic attraction) is easy to spot with large penguins on its roof. Christchurch has long been the depart point for most counties (incl.USA and Britain)Antarctic exploration for over 100 years so this is the ideal spot to learn more about that fascinating continent.
