- This stylish two-level seaside café is located on the landward end of the impressive Christchurch Pier. The café has a clever, elliptical design with tall windows, steel and wooden furniture, and a fine upstairs deck shaded by a gigantic macrocarpa tree. The Waterfront Café has an extensive menu with delights such as Lamb Shanks and Oceanview Chowder along with Panini and a selection of gourmet flat breads. Good coffee is served with a chocolate marshmallow fish on the side. They have a large selection of beers and wines including featured wines.
